I build, optimize, and operate distributed systems. Since 2015, I have worked across startups and unicorns, with experience in e-commerce, data platforms, LLM systems, CDN-enabled media delivery, Kubernetes, and multi-cloud infrastructure. My current focus is on microVMs and technologies that enable digital sovereignty and free expression.

I am looking for a hands-on role where I can also exercise technical leadership and guidance.

2024-2026: Founder, Stealth Startup "W"

Building a prediction market platform on EVM chains, with home-grown toolchains for crypto authentication and crypto exchange.

2020-2024: Solutions Architect, Amazon Web Services

Helped 3 unicorns, 17 VC-backed startups, and thousands of early-stage companies build on AWS 250% growth in multi-million revenue. Featured case studies for Amazon CloudFront and Amazon EKS. Led first adoptions of AWS Graviton and Amazon Bedrock.

2019-2020: Site Reliability Engineer, Grab

Implemented operational excellence and an SLO program on AWS and Azure. Reached: 99.99% service level, daily deploy frequency, 1 hour Mean Time to Mitigation for 2 services.

2017-2019: Engineering Lead, NFQ Asia

Maintained infrastructure and operations for 100+ engineers across 15 startups. Developed a standard for project provisioning. Reduced onboarding time from 8 weeks to 1; grew the DevOps chapter team five-fold.

2015-2017: Tech Founder, Taembe

Built the e-commerce platform and flash sales platform. Scaled volume by one order of magnitude, tripled revenue growth. I also managed the engineering team and our cloud operations.

2014-2015: Senior Software Engineer, DTS

Developed and delivered software for 2 major internet and mobile service providers. Built pipelines to provision and orchestrate heterogeneous (x86, PowerPC, and SPARC) fleets.

2010-2013: Instructor, SaigonCTT

Led classes on information security, Unix/Linux, and networking to over 200 engineers and IT workers. Enabled SaigonCTT to be the only center in HCMC/Hanoi to offer courses such as Solaris and RedHat Linux.

2009-2010: Software Engineer, ExE

Developed bespoke web applications for SMBs and enterprises. We were the first team in Vietnam that adopted Node.js.
